SPECIAL MISSION EMPHASIS 2012
In 2012, the Potomac Highlands District has the opportunity to support all three of The United Methodist Church's education funds. We are asking every church to receive a special offering, do a fund raiser or add money to your budget for these funds. Please make your check payable to the CONFERENCE TREASURER, and send to the Potomac Highlands District UMC Office, 97 Goldsborough Avenue, Romney WV 26757, and mark on the memo line as "Special Mission Emphasis 2012-District #50998".
We are also asking each church to give $1 per member and to present that check to the District
Superintendent at your 2012 Charge Conference.
The three United Methodist Church education funds are:
The Ministerial Education Fund
Africa University Fund
Black College Fund
